At a recent
meeting of the Board of Directors of Hevra Kodetia and the Board of
Directors of Temple Adas Israel it was agreed unanimously that Hevra
Kodetia would become a subsidiary of Temple Adas Israel.
The new
committee which will operate the group is:
New rules
have been adopted for the management of our facilities and an office
will be set up at
Temple Adas
Israel
where a facilities map will be posted and marked to answer any possible
conflicts.
Lots will in
future only be sold to members of
TEMPLE ADAS
ISRAEL
. in good standing.
Persons not
members may make application to purchase and the board will consider a
sale, giving extra consideration to persons who have relatives buried in
the cemetery.
For
Temple
members the cost of a double grave site will be $2,000.00 with a
perpetual care contract of $3,000.00 and a coping charge of $500.00.
This is a total of $5,500.00 which must be paid before a burial can take
place.
Costs to
non-members of
Temple Adas
Israel
will be double the above except for the coping charge which will remain
at $500.00. The total cost will be $10,500.00.
The coping
will be of uniform Belgian Block which will allow for us to cut the
grass on the site. Shrubs will be allowed but must be trimmed as a
responsibility of the family.
Only persons
of the Jewish Faith or Spouses of Jewish persons may be buried in the
cemetery.
Remains from
a cremation may be interred.
A map labeled
“MAP OF HEVRA KODETIA PROPERTY” will be used exclusively to
determine ownership location.
